Acknowledge outstanding commitment with an Administrative Staff Award nomination

The Administrative Staff Award is presented annually to an Algonquin College employee in recognition of excellence. Candidates must be a full-time or fixed term (part-time) member of the Administrative Staff of the College. 

 

Selection criteria: 

1.     Made a significant contribution to the College. 

2.     Demonstrated outstanding commitment and professionalism. 

3.     Considered by colleagues to be an excellent role model in an educational institution. 

 

Nominations for 2023-2024 Employee Awards must be received by Friday, May 10.

 

Last year’s recipient was Megan Thomson, Business Solutions Advisor, Workday Support. See below for an excerpt from Megan’s nomination:

 

“Megan consistently goes above and beyond in her duties, providing exceptional support to our employees. One of her most remarkable qualities is her ability to handle complex and challenging situations. She has a keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to her work. When Megan brings forward an idea for a Workday enhancement and completes system testing prior to implementing Workday changes, I have absolute faith that everything has been thoroughly researched and every situation has been considered.”
